² No, in heart you ^(A)work unrighteousness;
On earth you ^[a](B)prepare a path for the violence of your hands.
³ The wicked are estranged ^(C)from the womb;
These who speak falsehood ^(D)wander in error from ^[b]birth.
⁴ They have venom like the ^(E)venom of a serpent;
Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
